Paneer Bhurjee

Most of the work for this dish is to buy the Indian supplies. Otherwise, a pretty quick and simple Indian dish:

1 package of paneer (~300g), crumbled

2 tbs vegetable oil

4 garlic cloves, minced

2 onions, diced

1 tbs ginger, minced

4 green chilies, sliced

2 tbs tomato paste

1/3 tbs garam masala

1/2 tbs chili powder

1/2 tbs coriander powder

1/2 tbs turmeric powder

Heat oil in pot and add onions, garlic, ginger and green chilies. Once the onions are transluscent, add the garam masala, chili powder, coriander powder and turmeric. Let the spices cook for 2min. Add tomato paste, and about 1 cup of water (just enough to get the consistency of thick sauce), and let the mixture simmer for another 2min. Then add the crumbled paneer and let stew for 5min.

Serve with chapathis (flatbread that you can find in the same store you got the spices from) that you heat up in a skillet.
