Curry Potatoes with Peas

Here's a pretty easy potato dish for you guys to try out.

2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 potatoes
1 onion
3/4 cup peas (frozen)
1 tomato
1.5 tbsp ginger/garlic paste
3/4 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tbsp coriander
1/4 garam masala
1/4 turmeric

Boil those potatoes and then cut them up into cubes (it'll be hot). I tend to like the skin, but you guys can peel it off if you don't like it.

Saute the onions in oil in a saucepan. Once they are translucent, add the ginger garlic paste and let cook for 3 min. Then add the tomatoes and the peas, and once they are cooked (tomatoes are mushy and peas are done), add a little salt and water to make a paste. Finally mix in the cut, boiled potatoes and let that cook for 5 min. Add water occasionally so that the peas don't dry out.

There seems to be a current surge in Indian food items on this blog. I'm going to try a dessert out this week, and if it works, I'll post it.
