1lb pork or chicken
1T soy sauce, 1 egg yolk, 1T cornstarch
a bunch more cornstarch to coat meat
onion
scallion
pineapple
green pepper
1T chopped garlic
4T pineapple juice, 4T vinegar, 6T sugar, 6T water, 6T ketchup, 1/2t salt
cornstarch dissolved in water for thickening
cut meat to desired shape/size. marinate in soy sauce/egg yolk/cornstarch mixture for 20min. coat in cornstarch before deep frying. set aside on paper towels.
stir fry onions, pepper, scallion, and garlic. add pineapples towards the end. add sauce (pineapple juice, vinegar, etc.). thicken with dissolved cornstarch.
serve meat on or beside a steaming pile of rice. ladel the sauce/veggies over the meat. yum.
