Forbbidden rice: 1:2 part ratio rice to water in rice cooker
Dried chickpea: soak chickpea in water for 6-8 hours. Boil new water in large pot, add chickpeas, simmer. Start checking for tenderness after ~20 min.
Quinoa: 1:2 part ratio quinoa to water. Add quinoa to cold water, bring to boil, lower heat and cover, simmer for 12-15. White ring will show when done, cook until water is absorbed.
