Corner of 20th and Spruce Street
BYO
The menu is ever-changing but I think it is a tastier and less expensive bet to order a few appetizers and avoid the entrees.
Appetizers delicioso: Pear and gorgonzola on grilled flatbread, mussels in some kind of tomato sauce, grilled lamb and chickpea meatballs, some kind of herb salad with slivers of parmiggiano reggiano and sunflower seeds
Entree not so delicioso: Avoid the tuna tartare which was pretty but tasteless. Brian has gotten the salmon before; that was fine but nothing special.
Entree delicioso: Last time I went I didn't see this but they had a homemade fettucine in a seafood sauce that was quite quite tasty.
Overall: It is cozy but the ambience is fresh instead of stifling. Good for conversation and bonus points for being close to my house. Tends to get pretty packed around dinnertime. Outdoor seating available in the summer. Also referred to as 'Green Apple' by me.
