For some time i reference this as my favorite restaurant in philadelphia. I usually get the special, which changes regularly, although they have a very tasty shell fish in red sauce pasta dish. it is a little spicy and very tasty. always perfectly cooked. also pork tenderloin in a pear (and fig?) based sauce, also very nice. one time R got their ravioli with sundried tomatoes sage and poppy seeds, and it was extremly complex and well done. they have very good appetizers including a portobello mushroom cap doused in truffle oil topped with slightly cooked goat cheese and roasted pine nuts.
they are byo, and take CC and they are at 22 and spruce. the wait is a couple hours thurs-sat nights.
